Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical unit. This position involves providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, geriatric, general medical-surgical patients, rehabilitation (swing bed), and occasionally pediatric cases. The nursing ratio is 5 patients to 1 nurse.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical care to patients in the medical-surgical unit.
• Supervise and lead the nursing team, utilizing charge capabilities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer appropriate interventions.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Experience in a medical-surgical setting preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Scheduling and Requirements

This position requires day shifts and includes a weekend commitment of one to two weekends per four-week schedule rotation. There is no specific scrub color requirement, provided that professional scrub attire is worn.
