Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in a medical-surgical setting.

Position Details

• Start Date: September 30 or every other Wednesday
• Contract Length: 8 Weeks
• Shift: 7 AM to 7 PM, Days
• Schedule: 12 hours per shift; every other weekend required; holidays as needed
• Floating Requirement: Will float to medical-surgical units

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Utilize EPIC charting for effective documentation of patient care.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and assist with treatments as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of strong medical-surgical experience preferred.
• Preferred Skills: Experience in neuro care is preferred.
• License: Must possess a valid RN license in Illinois.
• Certifications: Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required.

New graduates will not be considered for this position. Please ensure all credentials are submitted by the Monday prior to your start date.
