Unit Information

Location: Arlington, TX

• Number of Beds: 10 Operating Rooms / 2 Endoscopy Suites
• Staffing: Varies based on shift requirements
• Types of Staff: Includes Charge RN, RNs, CSTs, Anesthesia Techs, Orderlies, and Equipment Techs
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Type of Equipment: Operating Room Equipment
• EMR System: Meditech

Job Summary

This position requires a dedicated CST to join a dynamic surgical team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in surgery and be prepared to contribute effectively to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide effective surgical services.
• Maintain a clean and organized surgical environment.
• Participate in on-call rotations and cover upcoming holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Required Skills:
  • A minimum of 5 years of surgical experience.
  • Proficiency with Meditech EMR.
• Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Neuro and Vascular surgical procedures.
  • Advanced procedure familiarity.

Licenses/Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Dress Code

Hospital-provided scrubs are required for all staff members.
