Description
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. This role requires expertise in MRI procedures and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans and ensure the quality and safety of imaging procedures.
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures and explain the imaging process to them.
- Maintain and operate MRI equipment in accordance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss MRI findings and patient care.
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience in MRI technology.
- Certification from ARRT or ARMRIT is preferred.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Proof of a negative TB screening within 12 months of the contract start date.
- A second modality certification is preferred.
Location
This position is available in Arcata, CA, and surrounding areas within a 20-mile radius, including McKinleyville, Eureka, Blue Lake, Trinidad, Westhaven, Samoa, Bayside, Freshwater, and others.
Shift Information
This role is for day shifts and may require holiday coverage.
