Job Details
This is a 15-week contract position for winter planning, offering full-time hours with a requirement for 48-hour workweeks.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Comfortable with or exposure to Perinatal care.
- Certifications required: BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring.
Skills Required
- Strong experience in Labor and Delivery, including the following skills:
- Cervical examinations
- Management of antepartum and labor cases
- Amnio infusions
- Administration of epidurals
- Fetal monitoring
- IV placement
- Administration of Pitocin
- Circulating in C-sections
- Receiving and catching newborns
- Performing APGAR assessments
- Knowledge of breastfeeding practices
Post-Partum Care
Preference for candidates with comprehensive knowledge of post-partum care, overseeing the transition to discharge for both mothers and babies.
Additional Information
- Scrub experience is a bonus; Scrub Techs are available on site, and scrub-trained RNs may be utilized for absences.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used: Epic (strongly preferred).
- Total of 20 beds: 12 Labor and Delivery, 8 Post-Partum/Antepartum (includes 3 OB/ED rooms and 2 OR rooms); also includes a 6-bed Level II NICU.
- No on-call requirements.
- Multilingual skills preferred, particularly in Russian and Spanish.
