About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team for a 13-week assignment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.
Shift Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Weekend Rotation: Required
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 14 in ICU, 20 in Med/Surg
- Patient Ratios: 1:2 in ICU, 1:5 in Med/Surg
- Unit Staff Composition: 1 Patient Care Assistant (PCA), 1 Unit Coordinator (UC)
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Floating Policy: As needed
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Active Texas RN License (Temp Licenses not accepted)
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
- Experience with NIH Stroke Scale and vasopressors
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Meditech documentation system
Dress Code
- Scrub Color: Navy scrub top and pants; navy or white scrub jacket
- Nails: Must be clean and healthy
- Hair: Should be neat, clean, and non-extreme in style or color
- Facial Hair: Mustaches and beards should be clean and trimmed
- Tattoos: Body art should be covered whenever possible
- Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
