About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week contract assignment. The position is responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Shift Details

• Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekend: Rotating
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Floating policy: Required as needed

Unit Highlights

• Unit: ICU
• Number of Beds: 14 ICU, 20 Med/Surg
• Patient Ratios: 1:2 in ICU, 1:5 in Med/Surg
• Unit Staffing Description: 1 PCA, 1 UC
• Documentation System: Meditech

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Active RN License in Texas (temporary licenses are not accepted)
• Certification:
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification
  • Experience with Vasopressors
• Experience with Meditech preferred

Dress Code

For this position, the dress code must comply with the following requirements:

• Scrub Color: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket
• Nail Policy: Clean and healthy
• Hair: Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors
• Facial Hair: Must be clean and neatly trimmed
• Tattoos: Must be covered whenever possible; non-coverable body art will be reviewed individually
• Piercings: Only ear piercings are acceptable; visible piercings in other areas are prohibited
