Number of Beds: 8 labor beds, 2 triage beds, 2 OR, and 1 recovery room bed
Number of Staff: 32
Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 2:1
Type of Equipment: GE Monitors, Panda Warmers, Novi, Neptune
EMR: CPN, Meditech

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in transition, postpartum, and newborn care. This role requires a team player who is motivated, independent, and flexible to meet the diverse needs of our patients and their families.

Qualifications

Required Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- NRP
Experience: Previous experience in Labor and Delivery, including care of newly delivered mothers and their newborns.
Preferred Skills: Charge experience is a plus.

Typical Procedures

Laboring and vaginal delivery
C-Sections
Care for newly delivered mothers and their newborns

Work Schedule

The position requires working every other weekend.

Dress Code

Royal Blue scrubs are required.
