Job Overview

This position is responsible for supporting CT cardiac exams in the Rapid Consult Center. The Registered Nurse will monitor vital signs, administer medications, and prepare patients for cardiac scans.

Responsibilities

Monitor blood pressure and heart rate.
Administer medications in preparation for cardiac exams.
Contact patients in advance to prepare them for their exams.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; 5+ years preferred.
Current RN License in the state of Illinois.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Work Schedule

Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. No weekend or holiday requirements.

Orientation

Unit orientation will occur during the first full week following the start date.

Additional Information

References from a supervisor within the last year are required. A skills checklist and verification of the Illinois nursing license will also be necessary.
