RN Clinical Perioperative Nurse

Job Description

The RN Clinical Perioperative Nurse is an essential member of an interdisciplinary team comprised of both licensed and unlicensed caregivers. This role ensures that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care within a clinical environment. The position operates under the guidance of Nurse Managers and other leaders while being supported by a shared governance model.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards and practices.
• Practice in compliance with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act.
• Implement the Scope of Practice and adhere to the Code of Ethics standards as put forth by the American Nurses Association.
• Actively participate in the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient services.
• Uphold the voice of the patient while adhering to system policies and procedures.
• Support the implementation of service excellence goals.

Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure in the state of Georgia.
