Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic team. The role is focused on providing exceptional patient care during surgical procedures and supporting a variety of specialties.

Position Details

  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Duration: 13 Weeks
  • Hours Guaranteed: 36 hours per week
  • Shifts: Evening shifts, 5 days a week (1430 - 2300)

Call Requirements

The position requires the ability to take on call shifts regularly, which typically includes:

  • 4-5 weekday call shifts per month
  • 2-3 weekend call shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a on Saturdays or Sundays)
  • Return time to the facility within 30 minutes of being called back

Essential Qualifications

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an operating room setting
  • Experience in robotics, general surgery, gynecology (GYN), and urology
  • Proven circulating experience in an operating room environment

Additional Information

Scrubs will be provided for the position. Familiarity with the Cerner EMR system is preferred.
