Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team for an inpatient role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Job Details

• Shift: Flexible start time between 7 AM and 8 AM, ending between 4 PM and 5 PM.
• Contract Duration: 12 weeks

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 330
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 10 patients per 8-hour day
• Unit Staffing: Includes Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and a Therapy Director
• Type of Equipment: Basic rehabilitation equipment, portable parallel bars, portable stairs, Sara Stedy, ceiling lifts, and hyper lifts
• Documentation System: Sunrise Allscripts
• Floating Policy: Coverage is provided to all inpatient units as well as the Emergency Department, excluding NICU patients
• Patient Experience Focus: Experience in acute care environments with high volumes of cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic patients is preferred; vestibular experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Required: New Hampshire Physical Therapy License and BLS certification
• Preferred Skills: Experience with vestibular evaluations and treatments
• Typical Procedures: Includes evaluations and treatment plans for patients

Dress Code

Scrubs are required, with no specific color mandate.
