Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Holiday Coverage Required: Yes
Minimum Years of Experience: 3 Years
Certifications/Requirements:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS/BCLS (Basic Life Support/Basic Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Epic EMR proficiency is required
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) and ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) are strongly preferred but not required
Job Description:
The Emergency Department (ED) is recognized as a Level III Trauma Center with 38 beds, including 2 trauma bays, and ranks among the top 10 busiest emergency departments in the region. This position involves working 36 hours per week on the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with expectations of working every other weekend and participating in a holiday rotation. Requests for excessive time off around holidays will not be accommodated. The role does not typically require taking on-call duty, and such requests should be rare. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 completed ED assignments and/or 3 years of recent and relevant ED experience. It is essential to include Epic EMR experience in your application, as candidates lacking this skill will not be considered.
