Description
Position Overview
This role involves working in the cardiovascular operating room, providing essential support to surgeons during procedures. The Certified Surgical Technologist will prepare the surgical field, pass instruments and supplies, maintain a sterile environment, and ensure a smooth workflow throughout surgeries.
Duration and Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days, 4x10s, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Call Requirements: As needed
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons by preparing the surgical area and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Pass instruments and supplies during surgery.
- Support the timely turnover of operating rooms between cases.
- Ensuring the efficient flow of surgical operations.
Qualifications
- CST Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting.
- Strong surgical skills in cardiac surgery, particularly with thoracic da Vinci experience.

Travelers must be located more than 50 miles from the facility and provide a driver's license and permanent home address with submission. Local candidates will not be considered for this position.
