Operating Room Circulator (OR) Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

An Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for immediate placement. This position requires expertise in the operating room environment, where critical thinking and scientific judgment are essential for patient care.

Shift Details

• Shift: Days - Four 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM to 5:00 PM)
• On-call required with rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities

The Operating Room Nurse will perform the following duties:

• Anticipate and plan for patient care in the operating room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other personnel
• Ensure the availability of supplies for surgical procedures
• Maintain communication with patient families
• Update physician preference cards as needed
• Scrub and assist during surgical cases
• Supervise personnel providing patient care

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR Circulator
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS (from AHA or American Red Cross)
• Experience with robotics in surgery is preferred
