Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

General Information

Location: Bowling Green, KY

Unit Specifics

Number of Beds: 36
Patient Ratios: 4:1 with cath recovery, max 6:1, may stretch to 7:1
Unit Staffing: PCTS on day and night shift; Unit Clerks on day shift
Type of Equipment: Remote Telemetry monitors, Alaris pumps
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend required
Floating Policy: Agency floats first, may float to Ortho/Med-Surg
Patient Experience Goals: Strive for a 75% patient satisfaction rate

Must Have: Telemetry experience
Advanced Skills: Knowledge of chest tubes, Dysthymia training

Procedures Performed

Chest tube insertions
Bedside Paracentesis
Thoracentesis

Dress Code

Any scrubs are acceptable except camo.
