Unit Information

Location: Arlington, TX

• Number of Operating Rooms: 10

  • Day Shift: RNs and Technicians
  • Night Shift: RNs and Technicians

Job Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the CVOR unit will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting in the preparation and management of the surgical environment.
• Monitoring patient vital signs and providing direct patient care.
• Collaborating with the surgical team to facilitate efficient surgical operations.
• Participating in patient assessments and care planning.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Required:
  • Completion of PeriOp 101 with a focus on orthopedics and trauma experience.
• Preferred:
  • The utilization of additional certifications and specialized skills related to surgical nursing will be considered advantageous.

Schedule

This position requires availability for Monday through Friday shifts from 7 AM to 3 PM, with the expectation of being on-call for more than 15 days a month, including holidays.

Dress Code

Scrubs are required in the designated hospital-approved colors.
