Description
Position Description
We are seeking a proficient Operating Room Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment located in Cypress, TX. This position requires a dedicated and skilled individual to join a dynamic surgical team.
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 9 OR suites + dedicated cysto room
- Number of Staff: 50
- Day Shift Staffing: Free Charge RN, all rooms staffed plus 2-3 float teams
- Night Shift Staffing: several teams until 5 PM, 2-3 teams until 7 PM, 1 team 3 PM - 11 PM
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- EMR: Meditech
Qualifications
- Must Have Skills: General surgery experience, orthopedic experience.
- Preferred Skills: Cardiovascular (CV) experience, Da Vinci robotics experience.

- Orthopedics (both total joints and sports medicine)
- Spine
- Neurosurgery
- Vascular surgery
- General surgery
- Bariatric surgery

Personality Fit
The ideal candidate will possess a collaborative spirit and demonstrate excellent communication skills, contributing positively to the team dynamic.
Requirements
- Certifications: BLS certification required.
Other Information
- Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs required.
- Call Schedule: One weekday call shift per week.
Experience
A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required for consideration.
