Description
Position Overview
The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a critical care environment. This role requires a strong clinical background and the ability to work effectively under pressure, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the ICU setting.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule
This position is full-time, requiring a commitment to night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Please note that there are no requests for time off (RTO) or special scheduling considerations.
