Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or an assigned group of patients, adhering to established standards of care and employing the nursing process. This role involves supervising and directing various levels of nursing staff while coordinating care with other healthcare disciplines. Unit Information
This unit provides intensive and comprehensive care and monitoring for medical, surgical, and cardiac patients who have experienced shock, trauma, or other life-threatening conditions. It supports a diverse mix of patients requiring advanced medical attention.
Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care in accordance with established standards.
- Supervise and direct the activities of assigned nursing staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize critical thinking and professional discretion in clinical decision-making.
- Monitor and assess patient responses to treatments and interventions.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state.
- Experience in a critical care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
