MRI Technologist

Position Description

Join our dedicated team as an MRI Technologist, providing critical imaging services in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for performing MRI scans to produce detailed images of internal body structures, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 1 MRI Scanner, 1 table
• Staff: 1 Tech available 24 hours a day, working 12-hour shifts
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Equipment: GE 1.5, Discovery 450
• EMR: Meditech

Schedule

Work hours include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Required: BLS, ARRT
• Preferred: ACLS (not required)

Responsibilities

As an MRI Technologist, your main duties include:

• Conducting MRI scans while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Maintaining equipment and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Adhering to protocols and procedures to ensure accurate imaging results.

Dress Code

Uniforms should consist of all-black scrubs.

Awards and Recognition

• Accredited by the Joint Commission.
• Designated as a Certified Primary Stroke Center.
• Achieved a 5-star rating for Heart Attack Treatment for 11 consecutive years.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
