Description
Job Description
The Nurse will deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. This role includes supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, as well as coordinating patient care with other disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to an assigned group of patients.
- Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment to assess patient needs and implement appropriate care plans.
- Supervise and direct nursing staff, ensuring adherence to established standards of care.
- Coordinate care activities with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license as required by state regulations.
- Proven experience in a nursing role with a focus on patient care.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing critical thinking and judgment in clinical decision-making.
