Description
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on Operating Room Circulation. The successful candidate will have a strong background in vascular surgery and be ready to contribute to a dynamic surgical team.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care in the Operating Room, primarily focusing on vascular procedures.
- Circulate in the Operating Room while ensuring a safe and sterile environment.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Float to Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) and General Operating Room as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotation as required.
Shift Information
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, consisting of 3 twelve-hour shifts.
- Day shifts with holiday coverage required.
- Weekend coverage: Every 2nd to 3rd weekend worked.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in vascular surgery.
- Expertise in operating the DaVinci Robot.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are mandatory.
- Prioritization will be given to candidates with minimal requests for time off (RTO) and willingness to work holidays or take call during that time.
