Nurse - Labor and Delivery/Postpartum

Job Description

We are seeking experienced nurses with a focus on labor and delivery and postpartum care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a compassionate demeanor, and the ability to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during a critical time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery.
• Monitor and assess the health of mothers and newborns before, during, and after childbirth.
• Provide education and support to families regarding prenatal and postnatal care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure a safe and efficient labor and delivery process.
• Manage emergency situations effectively and efficiently according to protocols.
• Assist in the implementation of individualized patient care plans.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license in the state of practice.
• Experience in labor and delivery and postpartum nursing.
• Strong clinical and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

Position available in various locations, including multiple locations within the region of City, State.
