Registered Nurse (RN) - CVOR

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in circulating within CVOR and have extensive experience in Endovascular and Cardiac open heart procedures.

Schedule Details

• Start Date: September 27 or October 5
• Scheduled Hours: 10 hours per shift
• Shift Time: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Weekend and Holiday Requirement: As needed
• Floating Requirement: As needed

On-Call Requirements

• 3-4 shifts per month
• Two-hour minimum call back, must arrive within 30 minutes

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Circulating Nurse in CVOR
• Core CVOR experience as a Staff Nurse
• Endovascular and Cardiac open heart experience preferred
• Proficiency with Epic required

Preferred Experience

• Ability to float to the Main OR
• Experience in scrubbing for CVOR procedures

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Nursing License
• Current CPR certification
• No ACLS certification required
