• Number of Staff: Approximately 10 therapy staff
• Patient Ratios: ≥75% productivity

General Information

The role of the Physical Therapist involves working in an inpatient rehabilitation and acute hospital setting, using Meditech as the EMR system. Therapists will float to acute care as needed based on rehab census.

Shift: Day shift (8 hours), weekends rotate

Typical Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Facilitate treatment progression and care planning.
• Participate in team conferences and discharge planning.
• Monitor and report on quality indicators.
• Engage in patient-centered and collaborative team care.

Qualifications

• Must Have: Inpatient rehabilitation experience
• Preferred:
  • Acute care experience
  • Experience in post-acute therapy services
  • Former experience with HCA
