Position Overview
This position involves working 4 shifts per week, each lasting 10 hours, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekday and weekend on-call requirements are part of the role.

Department Details
- Cath Lab: 1 Room
- Interventional Radiology (IR): 1 Room
- Hybrid Room: 1 Room
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
- Travelers must possess Cath Lab experience; Cath Lab and IR experience is preferred.
- First-time travelers are welcome.
Patient Types and Common Diagnoses
- Cath Lab (required): LHC/RHC, diagnostic procedures, interventional treatments, IABPs, Rotablator, STEMIs/MIs, pacemakers, general changes, MICRAs, staged/protected PCIs, CTOs, and Impella experience preferred.
- IR (experience preferred, can teach): Coil embolizations, nephrostomy tubes, stent placements, central lines, ports, G/GJ tubes, IVC filters, and temporary dialysis catheter placement. Assists with biopsies.
- Hybrid (experience preferred, can teach): AAA grafts, peripheral/AO runoffs, fistulograms.
Team Structure
- Each room utilizes 3-person teams.
- There is no CVOR backup on site.
- Expected cases per day range from 7 to 14.
Certifications and Skills Required
- Registered Nurse: BLS, ACLS; knowledge of EKG interpretation, case circulation, sedation, and patient transport is beneficial.
- Radiologic Technologist: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS certified, along with a state license; should be able to scrub and pan simultaneously and manage room turnover.
Department Support
- No dedicated transporter; phlebotomy services are available 24/7.
- Hospitalist and Intensivist on-site during the day for 24/7 support.

- Medication Dispensing: Pyxis
- Hemodynamic Monitoring: Merge
- C-arms: GE models
- Injector: MedRad
Orientation and Scheduling
- Orientation: Approximately 1-2 weeks based on experience; buddy call will be taken during this period.
- Weekend rotation involves on-call duties; expect 1 weekend call per month.
- Self-scheduling available with minor adjustments as needed.

- Scrubs and lead aprons are provided; extended sizing available upon request.
