Job Description

We are seeking a skilled RN with expertise in triaging, circulating, and recovering patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient assessments and triage in pre-operative and intra-operative settings.
• Assist in circulating during surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available.
• Monitor patients in the PACU, managing their pain and ensuring a smooth recovery process.
• Communicate effectively with surgical teams and provide updates on patient status.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide compassionate care while addressing patient needs and concerns.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices in patient care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment.
• Previous experience in surgical services, including triaging and PACU recovery.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred.
