Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in MedSurg and Telemetry to join our dynamic nursing team. This position will focus on delivering high-quality patient care in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in MedSurg and Telemetry units.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Hampshire or via Compact License.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, specifically in MedSurg and Telemetry.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to pass a Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• EMR experience preferred, Cerner experience is an advantage.
• Experience with Cardizem and Insulin drips (for hyperglycemia, not DKA) is required.
• Knowledge of Phenobarbital administration in Telemetry settings is a plus.
