Description
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a multi-service operating room and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures.
Shift Information
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
- On Call: 3 on-call shifts in a 4-week schedule
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and surgical staff during operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices.
- Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after surgery.
- Communicate effectively with team members and patients.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid single-state or multi-state Compact license.
- 2-3 years of experience in a multi-service operating room setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including options provided by the American Red Cross or instructor-level certification.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Additional Information
Hospital provided scrubs will be available for all staff members. This position requires a commitment to patient care and safety, ensuring a positive surgical experience for all patients.
