Job Description

This position is for a Registered Nurse with experience in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) model. The nurse will work night shifts from 1900 to 0730, totaling 36 hours per week with rotating shifts. Candidates must possess relevant certifications and have at least two years of experience in a similar setting.

Essential Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing school: Required
• Minimum of one year recent acute care RN experience: Required
• Current RN license in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor: Required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course: Required at the time of hire and every two years thereafter for experienced nurses
• For novice or new-to-L&D RNs, completion of the AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring course during the first 6-8 months of L&D orientation is required, followed by the AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course every two years thereafter

Facility-Specific Certifications

• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS: Required
