ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This position requires working day shifts and involves providing critical care for patients in the Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday
• Shifts: 0600 to 1830

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in accordance with standards.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of two years of documented ICU experience or completion of an approved ICU training course that includes both didactic and clinical components.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of California.
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) following American Heart Association guidelines.
• ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required within six months of hire.
• PALS Certification (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required within six months of hire.
• CCRN certification (Critical Care Registered Nurse) is encouraged.
