Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our float pool team. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care across various departments.
Shift Information
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid RN license (Single State or Multi-State Compact).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Experience in hemodynamic monitoring, vasopressor management, ventilator knowledge, and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) is preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required.
- Must pass a dysrhythmia test.
Certifications
- BLS - Basic Life Support or equivalent.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or equivalent; provisional ACLS certification accepted for up to 180 days.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications, treatments, and assist with diagnostic procedures as necessary.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance nursing skills.
