Job Overview
This is a Med/Surg Registered Nurse role focused on providing exceptional patient care in an acute care environment. The position requires a commitment to effective patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Shift Details
- Day Shift: 0700-1930
- Available Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Acute care facility experience: Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required
- EPIC experience: Required
Key Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the following:
- Providing patient-centered care while ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Performing assessments and accurately documenting patient information.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitoring patient progress and responding to changes in their condition.
