Job Overview

An opportunity exists for an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to join a dynamic healthcare team. This role involves delivering high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule

• Shift: Evenings, from 3 PM to 3 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours.
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirements: As needed

Job Responsibilities

• Provide care for a diverse patient population, including pediatrics and elderly patients.
• Assess patients' conditions, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Utilize Epic for documenting patient information and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois nursing license
• Current certifications in CPR, ACLS, NIH Stroke, PALS, and TNCC or TNS
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience
• Successful completion of an EKG test with a passing score of 80% or higher

Additional Information

This position primarily focuses on cardiac care, catering to an elderly population in a Level II facility that sees approximately 3,000 patients each month. Orientation will consist of 16 hours of non-billable time.
