Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Arlington Heights, IL. This position offers a night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, starting at 19:00. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care in a Med/Surg environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Float to all Med/Surg units as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; 3 or more years preferred.
• Current IL Registered Nurse License.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Ability to work every other weekend.

Additional Information

Orientation will consist of 24 hours, with 12 hours being non-billable. This position requires flexibility, including availability during holidays as needed. Candidates must be prepared for a dynamic work environment.
