We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Technologist to join our team in a dynamic Cardiac Cath Lab environment. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a Cath Lab setting and be prepared to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing various cardiac procedures.

Job Details

• Shift: 12-hour days with additional call responsibilities
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Unit Information

• Unit Type: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Beds: 3 main, 1 EP, and 1 Hybrid (vascular & cardiac cases)
• Daily Cases: 10-25 cases per day
• EMR Systems: Cerner and Xper
• Orientation: 2 days on the job specific to the unit

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of interventional and electrophysiology procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain and operate medical equipment, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
• Participate in on-call duties (8-12 days per month), including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Cath Lab setting required
• Certifications:
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • Must hold a valid AZ license, MRTBE CRT

Additional Information

• Common Patient Diagnoses: Interventional, EP lab, peripheral procedures, mitral clip, TAVR, IABP placements, and Emtala procedures.
• Response Time: 30 minutes required for on-call duties.
• Equipment Used: Phillips and Siemens equipment.
• Staffing: Includes Rad techs serving as circulating and scrub techs with BLS and relevant certifications.
