Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our Radiology department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing computed tomography scans and general radiology exams, while ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scans and general radiology exams (X-rays).
• Schedule mobile imaging units (MRI, Ultrasounds, and Dexascans).
• Support the department by performing EKGs as needed (training available).
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional patient care.

Work Schedule

This position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend requirements and holiday shifts. Call coverage is required on a weekly basis, including response times of 20 minutes for night and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Current BLS Certification and ARRT certification required.
• ND licensure is needed, but CT certification is not mandatory.
• IV capability is preferred.

Department Setup

• Department includes one CT scanner, one DR mobile unit, and one DR room.
• Average of 5 scans/studies performed per day, combining X-rays and CT scans.
• Utilizes EMR systems (Epic) and PACS systems (Intellispace).

Dress Code

Scrubs are preferred or casual wear, with a requirement to avoid jeans.

Orientation and Training

Comprehensive department-specific orientation will be provided as part of the onboarding process.
