Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced cardiac cath lab environment and will be responsible for assisting in various procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Utilize equipment such as laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, Impella, IABP, FFR, and angiojet.
• Work with critically ill patients, including those undergoing STEMI procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the lab while assisting medical staff.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including cardiologists and respiratory therapists.

Shifts

This position requires commitment to 12-hour shifts, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The schedule includes working every other weekend, with one night of call per week and one weekend of call per month.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS Certification, and Fluoroscopy. Note that RCIS is not accepted.
• Candidates must have peripheral and coronary circulatory experience.
• Experience with Siemens and Philips equipment is preferred.
• Must have completed all required training modules prior to arrival.
• CERNER experience is required.

Additional Information

Scrubs will be provided. The Cath Lab consists of 4 rooms and typically handles 15-20 cases per day. There is a dedicated charge nurse during the day and a circ nurse available after hours.
