Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in the operating room environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through effective teamwork and collaboration.

Shift Information

• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: Tuesday to Thursday
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Unit Information

Unit: OR RN

• Number of Operating Rooms: 17
• Average Cases Per Day: 35 on weekdays, 10 on weekends
• Common Procedures: Orthopedic, Neurological, General Surgery
• Experience Required: Trauma experience is essential
• Scrubbing Required: No
• Electronic Medical Records: EPIC

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)

Additional Information

• Orientation: Clinicians must be available for the entire week of orientation, which may include remote modules.
• Floating Requirements: None required
• Dress Code: Scrubs provided
• Weekend Shifts: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Holiday Requirements: Must be available to work on holidays if scheduled on a weekend
• Call Response Time: 30 minutes
