Description
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit. This role involves working in a fast-paced Med/Surg Observation Unit, which requires adaptability to rapidly changing patient acuity levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients in a 28-bed Inpatient Observation Unit.
- Manage both lower and higher acuity patients, including trauma overflow beds and mid holds.
- Float to other areas of competency as required.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Participate in holiday shifts as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar specialty within an acute care setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred.
