About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated X-Ray Technologist to join our team. The candidate must be able to commit to a full-time schedule, working five days a week with no exceptions. This position will focus primarily on outpatient imaging and injections within a neurosurgery and neurology setting.

Facility Overview

• Large clinic with multiple imaging rooms, including one x-ray room and one injection room.
• Average daily patient census of 60 imaging patients, with approximately 30 undergoing injections.
• Patient types include adults and pediatric patients, primarily dealing with spine and head-related diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
• Current certifications: ARRT and BLS.
• Experience working with various patient types and knowledge of common diagnoses such as scoliosis series and shunt series is essential.

Skills Required

• Proficiency in using C-arm technology is necessary.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
• Willingness to perform additional office and administrative tasks, including creating CDs for patients.

Support and Team Structure

• Collaborate with a supportive team that includes registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, and front desk staff.
• Typically, three technologists will be present for imaging duties.
• In the injection suite, there is one provider present, while the clinic has 10-12 providers available at any time.

Technology and Equipment

• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system: EPIC
• PACS system: Intellaspace
• X-ray equipment: Shimadzu; C-arm: GE OEC

Floating and Orientation

• Traveling technologists may occasionally float to other locations within the region, but such instances will be rare.
• Orientation for this position will last approximately one week.

Scheduling Details

• This position does not require weekend rotations or holiday shifts, as the facility is closed on holidays.
• Regular hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 5:00 PM.
• Requests for time off will be reviewed by management.
