Description
Hospital Information
We are a Level II Trauma Center and a Level III NICU with a commitment to achieving Magnet Status Designation. Our facility is recognized as a Primary Stroke and Chest Pain Center and serves as a Teaching Hospital with 417 beds.
General Information
- Beds: 2 Cath labs, 2 Hybrid peripheral/OR
- Experience Requirement: Minimum 2 years of experience required with coronary, structural heart, complex PCI, and peripheral experience.
- Traveler Requirement: Must live 100 miles away from the facility.
- Permanent staff may not return as travelers for one full year.

Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- RT or equivalent or RCIS is required
Required Education
- AA/AAS Degree
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years with coronary, complex PCI, and peripheral experience
- Ability to perform table movement (panning)
- Arrhythmia recognition and treatment
- Critical patient assessment skills
Support on the Unit
Support staff includes a charge nurse available Monday through Friday from 0600-1630.

Floating
There is no floating; the Cath Lab and IR are separate departments.
Orientation
New staff will undergo a 4-day orientation with 10-hour shifts.
Scheduling and Availability
- Weekend rotation: Every fourth weekend
- On-call requirement: 1-2 days per week from 1630-0600 and every fourth weekend from 1630 Friday to 0600 Monday
- Shift Schedule: All positions operate on a day/night rotation with call, typically comprising 4 weeks of 10-hour days and 2 weeks of 12-hour nights within a 6-week period.
Holiday Expectations
Staff may be required to work approximately 1 holiday per assignment.
Approval of Time Off
Requests for time off must be approved by the Manager.
