Description
Minimum Experience

Skills Required
- Administering and monitoring conscious sedation
- Assessment and monitoring of clinical status of patients
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of medications used in the Cath Lab
- Understanding of radiation safety and infection control
- Keen knowledge of hemodynamic support
- Effective communication with the patient care team, patients, and their families
Licensure & Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Patient Types
- Cardiac diagnostics and interventions
- Implantable devices
- EP mapping and ablation
- Vascular diagnostics and interventions
- Interventional radiology
Technology
Experience with EMR systems including EPIC and Merge is preferred.
Shift Information
Shift times are from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM.
Weekend coverage is managed through on-call rotation only; approximately every fourth weekend from Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM, and one weekday on-call shift per week from the end of the shift until 7:00 AM the following morning.
Uniform
Navy scrubs will be provided.
