Unit Type: Intermediate Care
Location: Wichita, KS
Number of Beds: 37
Staffing:
- Day Shift: 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Technicians, 1 Unit Clerk
- Night Shift: 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Technicians
Patient Ratios: 1:6; 1:4 for Heart Cath patients (estimated, not guaranteed)
Equipment Used: PCA Pumps, IV Pumps, Chest Tubes
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Minimum 1-year hospital telemetry experience
- BLS & ACLS certifications
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience with Meditech
- NIH Stroke Scale certification

- Medication drips administration
- Heart catheterization recovery
- Bubble studies
