Unit Information

Location: Englewood, CO

This position is for a registered nurse in the operating room, specifically working with a variety of surgical procedures. The unit is equipped with 4 operating rooms and 1 endoscopy room, staffed with a collaborative team of registered nurses and surgical technicians.

Staffing and Environment

• Number of Staff: 4 Full-Time RNs, 3 Full-Time Certified Surgical Technologists, 1 PRN RN, 1 Call Only RN, 1 Call Only CST, 2 Environmental Services, 3 Sterile Processing
• Staffing Structure: Day Shift typically includes a mix of charge nurses, registered nurses, and support staff depending on the operating room schedule.
• Patient Ratios: To be discussed during the interview process.
• Equipment Used: Stryker systems and others related to surgical procedures.
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Meditech

Qualifications

Requirements

• Current BLS certification
• Experience with orthopedic, spine, Davinci, Mako, Globus, and laparoscopic procedures

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in a similar surgical environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Light Blue. Scrubs will be provided on-site.

On-Call Policy

On-call shifts are typically scheduled Monday through Thursday from 5 PM to 6 AM one or two times a week, with weekend coverage needed as required.
