Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves working in a dynamic environment that supports expectant mothers and their families through the labor and delivery process.

Shift Details

Days: 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM
Schedule: 5 days on/2 days off, alternating weeks (2 on, 2 off, 5 on, 5 off)
Orientation week included in the initial schedule

Role Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients
Monitor and assess patient conditions during labor and delivery
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Utilize OBIX and MedHost EMR for documentation and patient management
Support and educate patients and their families throughout the delivery experience

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana or multi-state license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from AHA
AWHONN certification is required

Location

Bastrop, LA - a smaller town with ample housing options available nearby in Monroe.
