Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a travel position in La Porte, IN. This role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment in a rural emergency department setting.

Key Details

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Floating: Required to float to Starke Emergency Department every third weekend
Scrub Color: Navy blue

Requirements

Active RN license in Indiana
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
De-Escalation Training
1-2 years of experience in the Emergency Department
Familiarity with Cerner EMR is preferred

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 23 beds
Patient Ratio: Approximately 4 or 5 patients per nurse
