Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CVOR Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the cardiovascular operating room and will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Shift Details

• Shift Length: 8 or 10 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Potential for 4/10s (0630-1700) or 5/8's (0715-1500)
• Weekend and holiday call duties may be required

Unit Information

The position is within a busy cardiovascular operating room with:

• 7 operating suites
• 22-45 cases per day across multiple specialties
• Inpatient and outpatient surgeries
• 35-40% of cases are add-ons

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CVOR Technologist
• Current BLS Certification required
• Valid Washington State license for CVOR Technologists
• No national certification required

Responsibilities

• Assist during cardiovascular surgical procedures, preparing and maintaining the sterile field
• Ensure all instruments and supplies required for the procedure are available
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team to facilitate efficient and safe operations
• Participate in patient care and safety protocols during procedures
• Be available for call duty as required, with a response time of 30 minutes

• Rotational holiday coverage
• Scrub attire will be provided
• Orientation period of 1 week specific to the unit
• Weekend call coverage will be required, including 12-hour shifts
