Description
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) and be dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with various respiratory procedures including arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling, nebulizer treatments, and intubation support.
- Administer respiratory care and therapies to patients of all ages, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Utilize medical documentation systems efficiently to maintain accurate patient records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience, specifically in intensive care and NICU settings.
- Valid RRT certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Ability to draw arterial blood gases (ABGs) competently.
- Experience with Servo I ventilators and I-Stat devices is preferred.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in performing a variety of respiratory treatments and assessments.
